Official Rules for the 12 Days of Cleaning Giveaway Sweepstakes

Twelve separate daily drawings begin at 12:00 a.m. EDT on December 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on December 12, 2008. One winner per day will be selected from each Participating Website for the 12-day duration of the sweepstakes.

No purchase necessary to enter or to win. A purchase will not increase chances of winning. Limit one entry per Person/Participating Website/day. No more than 17 entries per day per person. Multiple entries via any one Participating Website on any one day will be disqualified, as well as any incomplete, late and unreadable entry forms. To enter, simply complete the online form and submit your entry.

TO ENTER: Link to dirtdevil.com/12daysofcleaning from a Participating Website, complete and submit the entry form. Entries must be electronically received by Sponsor no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on each day that a drawing is held. Electronic submissions are date and time stamped. All date and time stamps as received by Sponsor will be final. Participant must re-enter daily to be eligible to participate in the drawing held on any given day during the sweepstakes. Participant may submit more than one entry per day, provided each entry is timely submitted via a different Participating Website. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all respects.

Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries or for any technical problems in connection with transmission or receipt of entries, including faulty electronic data transmission, traffic congestion on the Internet or the Web site, hardware or software error, equipment failure or malfunction, or other online communications problems. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Automated entries (including, but not limited to, entries made using any script, macro, bot, or sweepstakes service) are not allowed. No other attempted method of entry will be accepted.

PRIZE: The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner drawn from each participating Website each Day of the sweepstakes. A total of 17 Prizes will be awarded per Day. A total of 204 prizes will be awarded. The Prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash or for credit. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if stated Prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Suggested retail value of Prize is $29.99.

SELECTION OF WINNER: Winner will be selected in a random drawing at 3:00 p.m. daily on the business Day following each Day a drawing is held. Daily drawings will be held beginning December 1, 2008 and ending December 12, 2008. For the dates of Saturday, December 6, 2008 and Sunday, December 7, 2008, winners will still notified the following business day. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizewinner will be notified by e-mail (sent to the e-mail address provided with entry submission). Potential winner will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 10 days of date of notification. Prize will be mailed to winner residence, provided with entry submission. If prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.

ELIGIBILITY: Drawing is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 or older. Employees of TTI Floorcare North America and its affiliated companies, agents, advertising and promotion agencies and their employees, and the immediate family members of each of the aforementioned are not eligible to enter. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is responsible for or who tampers with the entry process or Web site.

GENERAL: By accepting the prize, winner acknowledges that Sponsor has not made nor is responsible for any warranty or representation, express or implied, relative to Prize, including, but not limited to, its quality or mechanical condition. By entering the sweepstakes, entrant agrees that Sponsor has no liability whatsoever for any injuries or damages of any kind which may result from acceptance and/or use of the Prize awarded, or for any warranties, if any, which may exist with regard to the same. Acceptance of prize releases Sponsor from any and all liabilities relating to or in any way involving the Prize awarded. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting Prize, winner grants permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice, and/or likeness for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without additional compensation. Winner is solely responsible for applicable federal, state or local income taxes on Prizes.

WINNER LIST: For the names of winners, available winner has been verified, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by February 16, 2009, to Akhia Public Relations/Dirt Devil Sweepstakes Winners List, 85 Executive Parkway, Suite 400, Hudson, OH 44236, ATTN: Lindsay.

DEFINITIONS:

"Day" means the 24-hour time period commencing 12:00 a.m. EST and ending 11:59 EST.

"Participating Website" means any of the following:

"Person" means any legal resident, age 18 or older, residing in a personal residence at a valid street address in the United States. P.O. boxes will not be accepted.

"Prize" means one (1) Dirt Devil KWIK vacuum.
